ERC began in 1999 when a father offered his son a chance to pay off a debt. At the time, Dr. Steve Price was an educational program administrator at Fresno State University. His son, Stephen, was a recent seminary graduate leading an outreach program for disadvantaged youth in the Sacramento area. After several months of sending financial support, Dr. Price "wised up" and offered his son work on a series of grant writing projects for a small, rural school district. The projects were successful, word quickly spread, and ERC was born. Today, the company has developed far beyond grant writing.
