EPE was established in 1972 as Electrical Power Engineering Sdn Bhd to manufacture and market electrical switchgear & power distribution product / equipment. In the early days, EPE manufactured switchgear at both medium and low voltage level under licenses from well-known brands. With enough years of experience and in house and out sourced Research... and Development with our partners, EPE embarks on a journey to widen the scope of products catering the demands and specification of our main customers locally and overseas. Achievement of total Quality for EPE Product is assured through Type Testing and Routine and Factory Acceptance tests as well as in-coming Assurance Quality Check. EPE's products are all type tested in one of the followings: KEMA, CESI, ASTA, Xihara and many others which are certified with IEC 17025. EPE has also achieved and maintains the ISO 9001:2008 Certification. With the changes on the market structures and demands, EPE has also restructure its organization to reflect the ever changing requirement. For the Switchgear business, EPE Switchgear (M) Sdn Bhd is positioned to undertake all manufacturing activities and sales and marketing to all Utilities and Overseas Customers. Since Mid-1990s, EPE has exported to a number of countries, from New Zealand, Australia to United Kingdom, from Vietnam, Sri Lanka to GCC Countries, Middle East and Zimbabwe to Sudan. Over the years, EPE has also undertake Contracting Business for Substations for voltages up to 300 kV. EPE also provide after Sales Services and Maintenance Services to all our customers, local and overseas.
