Founded in the late 1990's, Edina Couriers, now Winnesota Regional Transportation was one of the original courier services started in the Twin Cities. Recognizing the absence of great customer service and professionalism in the courier industry, our team went out searching for customers based on this premise. Throughout the early 90's, our customer... base and great reputation continued to grow. The company added many dedicated and loyal employees, most of whom are still with us. To meet the demands of customers with Warehousing and Distribution needs, we moved to our current location, a stand alone 68,000 Square foot office and warehouse facility in Eden Prairie that is the premier local courier and distribution center in the Upper Midwest. Serving companies throughout the United States, we are a fully licensed Public Warehouse taking full advantage of our own distribution network throughout the World. To date we have acquired four significant companies, allowing our customer base to grow substantially. When acquiring Lightning Legal, those customers added to our own Legal base put us in direct competition with Legal Only delivery companies in the Twin Cities. We turned our large driver base into an asset by offering Law Firms better, faster service at a fair price.Winnesota has grown significantly in the last few years, to where we have the largest Refrigerated Fleet in the Twin Cities, catering to the food industry. The growth has taken place responsibly so that nothing has been taken away from the long time areas we have served such as the printing, plastics, and banking industries, only to name a very few.
