Ecological Design Group, Inc. is an Arkansas small business corporation providing professional landscape architecture and civil engineering services with emphasis in integrated sustainable design. EDG, Inc. was founded by Martin L. Smith, a registered landscape architect, in 2008. The firm was created from a spin off of his previous firm Larson Bur... ns and Smith, Inc., of which he was principal for 8 years. With 18 years of experience consulting on environmentally sensitive projects in Austin, Texas and throughout Arkansas, Mr. Smith's projects have been widely recognized for their environmental design excellence. Tanner A. Weeks, also a registered landscape architect, joined the firm in 2006 and resides as the managing principal of the Little Rock office. A native of North Little Rock, Mr. Weeks has 15 years of experience working in the public and private sector, including experience with urban design and park master planning. He provides a detail oriented focus combined with extensive construction experience, allowing him to understand the importance of quality control and constructability in a project. Shannon Norman joined EDG, Inc. in 2010. She received her degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas in 2008. With her 6 years of experience, Shannon contributes quality graphics and design work with a heightened awareness of sustainable urban development and community building through the integration of arts, urban farming, and social interaction. Brahm Driver, P.E., joined EDG, Inc. at the end of 2012. He received a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2006. He resides as the manager of the Fayetteville office, which opened in April 2013.
