After their first daughter was born in 1998 the couple has been on a mission to support families. Wendy holds an AS in Human Services and has had a robust doula career since 2003 serving hundreds of families independently and thousands of families through Doula Love! Shawn has a Masters Degree in Social Work and is bilingual in Spanish. He opened his private practice Mindful Papa in 2018 after homeschooling the couples kids all the way through middle school. The couple has spent a bulk of their career working in the field of addiction, homelessness and mental health. After so many years of seeing the effects of broken families the couple has dedicated their lives to helping well families stay well and offering a step up to parents who may be struggling with their transition into parenthood.
