My name is Jeffrey Staton and I am the founder of DollarsToDonate. I am a full time teacher and this website is a project that I completed over the summer. As you know, schools and other organizations can always use a little extra money and I have become frustrated with school fundraisers. Schools are doing the same fundraisers that I did when I wa... s in elementary school! I think family and friends are sick of buying the same box of cookies or chocolates year after year. I thought there must be a better way to do it! After seeing how YouTubers and bloggers are making money online I thought that schools can do the same thing and transition schools into 21st century fundraisers. We use affiliate marketing and sell things that people actually want and buy anyway and it doesn't cost them anything extra. Top retailers such Amazon, Walmart, Sport Check, Chapters and many more will offer commissions of up to 10% for online sales. I built this website to be a portal between these retailers and friends and family who would like to donate to a good cause. The key is, every time you shop online at these retailers, you must click through the link on your organization's page in order let the retailers know what organization you are supporting.
