DeBoer's Auto, Inc. was established in 1982, by Bill DeBoer, Sr. as a used car dealership/body shop and was originally located in Newton, NJ. Prior to opening his own business, Bill Sr. worked for 13 years at the Ford Mahwah plant, assembling cars until he was laid off with the plant's closing. In 1985, Bill and his wife Rita purchased the current... location in Hamburg and have been serving the community there ever since. n 1997, Bill was joined by his son Bill DeBoer Jr. who had recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Management. Bill Jr. found enjoyment in auto repair and so it was decided to expand the business into a repair facility. n recent years, the building has undergone renovations and the vehicle repair equipment has been upgraded with the latest technology to enhance the shop facilities.
