Deaf Parenting UK

Deaf Parenting UK (DPUK) is an awards winning charity that provides specialised support for Deaf Parents, focusing on helping Deaf parents/parents to be to support their children to achieve positive outcomes across all areas of their lives. At DPUK, we work primarily with Deaf parents whose first language is British Sign Language (BSL) and who face... significant barriers around community inclusion and in developing parenting skills and capacity. Our new team of qualified Parenting Trainers are Deaf Professionals who have significant experience working with Deaf Adults, children and families, will be able to deliver more support to Deaf Parents and their families across the UK. Delivery of Deaf awareness focused support will address the concerns around Deaf parenting, the provision of the support will give Deaf families more incentive to engage and make the required progress.
