About DC Farms
At DC Farms we produce the kind of cattle we want to use. Over the years Limousin have proven to be excellent performers - both in the purebred herd and as commercial crosses. Our venture into purebred Limousin started with one sire purchased in 1984, and we became hooked on what the breed had to offer. That one sire led to the purchase of some females, and eventually a herd of purebred Limousin we are very proud of. We currently run about 50 purebred Limousin females and 150 commercial crosses on our farm just outside of Barrhead Alberta. The animals featured to the left are just a sampling of our top performers and the sires currently in use in our herd. Only the top performing purebred females get to stay in the purebred herd to pass on their genes.
