About Dart Metals
Sam Shapiro started trading scrap aluminum for David and Bruce Heimann's Dart Metals Inc. in 1992. After a 5 year apprenticeship, Shapiro bought certain assets of Dart Metals Inc, and formed Dart Metals Trading Co., in 1997. Don Oettinger began trading for Dart Metals in 2003 while Randy Offstein began trading in 2004. Together, Sam, Don and Randy buy and sell tens of millions of pounds of scrap aluminum annually for Dart Metals Trading Co. Dart Metals has earned a reputation over the last three decades as a company that tells the truth, works hard for their customers and always pays their bills timely!
