Utahs affordable housing specialist, Danville Development Corporation, was founded in 1979 by Art Woolston. Art saw the growing need for affordable senior housing along the Wasatch Front and responded in kind to fill the need. Today, Danville Development is run by Arts daughter Lisa Jones and her management team which includes her daughter Stephanie Robinson. The company currently manages 25 residential properties, with direct placement services at 13 locations in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Kaysville, Brigham City, South Salt Lake, Tooele, Providence, St. George, and Green River, Wyoming. The company's corporate offices are located in Midvale, Utah. Danville also works closely with partner agencies to find homes for people with disabilities, people suffering from chronic homeless, and people with mental illness. Danvilles unique customer-focused management approach assures the highest quality of service to the company's applicants and residents. It takes time and patience to navigate all of HUDs rules and regulations, to find a new apartment, then qualify, apply, and finally wait for the next available opening. All of which makes working with Danville a unique processwe are part property manager, part housing advocate.
