Cutter Oil Company is a family-owned oil and gas exploration and production company that was formed in 1982. We have over 125 wells in active production along with working interest in over 200 wells. Cutter Oil focuses exploration in northeastern Ohio. Cutter Oil has been a member of Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA) since 1983. Cutter Oil has an... excellent track record for safety and environmental responsibility, and has a proven ability to operate oil and gas wells in very tight locations. In addition, we have operated some of the biggest producing oil and gas wells in Ohio such as Frank #3 in Wayne County. Cutter Oil does not outsource work but rather completes most operations internally. These include: drill site preparation, reclamation, landscaping, maintenance, and production. By doing the work ourselves we ensure that things are done right and the greatest care and precautions are taken in every stage, from drilling to completion to production. We build a relationship with each individual landowner, because the landowners are working with a member of the Cutter Oil family from the beginning, and they get to know the people who they see on their property. We take great pride in our ability to put the land back to the way it was and not alter the environment in a permanent manner. We also perform a great deal of landscaping to ensure that the landowners do not have any eyesores on their property. You will find that Cutter Oil Company takes many steps above and beyond what other producers will do to enhance the appearance of a drill site. For instance, unlike other oil companies, we place our sales meters beside our tank battery whenever possible. This eliminates the unsightly meter that is often seen right next to the street at other locations.
