About Community Extension Programs
Community Extension Programs, Inc. (CEP) has enjoyed a 50-year tradition of serving the needs of Tucsons youth and their families. Our community-based programs have included: a well-established before and after-school childcare (PAL Program), high school and summer bridge programs, remediation classes and adult community education courses, among many others. When schools closed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CEP completely transformed the direction of our work into a fully philanthropic institution with a focus on providing relief and resources to Tucsonans in need. Our newly focused organization has sponsored programs from established non-profits such as the Assistance League of Tucson and Youth on Their Own to further our mission.
