Community Care Center is a 150-bed mental health facility located in Duarte, CA. We have a specialized 120-bed unit, licensed by the Department of Public Health, for those suffering from mental illness, including veterans, and a separate 30-bed unit for those with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Certified by the Department of Mental... Health and licensed by the Department of Public Health, we are proud to offer specialized care and treatment for residents with short and long-term psychiatric issues. Our residents will have a clinical care team that includes the patients psychiatrist, primary care physician, nursing, psychologist, and a psychological counselor. This multidisciplinary team develops a person-centered care plan design to help individuals modify their behaviors and learn skills that will help improve their quality of life. Specifically, these plans focus on strategies to reduce problematic behaviors through meaningful activities. Our behavioral therapy facility is designed to minimize safety risks while preserving a comfortable environment. Policies and procedures also focus on resident care and safety.
