About Coastal Bend
The Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse- Coastal Bend is a private nonprofit organization that serves a multi-county region with a continuum of care in prevention, intervention, and treatment of the disease of alcoholism and other drug abuse for individuals, families, and communities. The Council has been serving the Coastal Bend area since 1957 when we first opened our doors in Corpus Christi, Texas. With the help and inspiration from community partners, state and federal funding, and our employees, we have expanded our reach and our services to 12 counties that include Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kennedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio.
