Center for Special Surgery is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely through information provided by the CDC and ND Department of Health. The company has instituted visitor restrictions that will vary by the day. In most instances the company will allow one visitor with an adult patient and the parents or guardians of a pediatric p... atient. In circumstances where the company's surgical volume is higher, the company may ask that visitors remain in their vehicle. The company will make this clear for each patient during the company's pre-operative phone call process. The company do ask that all patients and visitors wear masks while entering the surgery center. The company has instituted a screening process that will include an automated scanner taking your temperature at the door. The company is also completing this same process with the company's staff each and every day. The company ask that no individuals enter the center experiencing symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell, or fever.
