Catalyst Exchange, formerly known as Catalyst:Ed, is a national nonprofit organization headquartered in New Orleans that helps mission-driven organizations across education and social sectors build capacity and deepen their impact. Founded in 2017 by Leona Christy, the organization connects schools, public agencies, nonprofits, and place-based part... nerships to a vetted network of over 1,000 expert consultants and providers who deliver hands-on support, tools, and expertise to drive transformational outcomes for communities. Catalyst Exchange operates a digital platform that facilitates capacity-building by enabling organizations to identify their needs, connect with tailored expert support, and access funding through Catalyst Wallets, which allow foundations and grantmakers to channel resources directly to projects. Since its founding, the organization has supported more than 1,500 organizations with a 94 percent project success rate and has deployed over 27 million dollars toward capacity-building initiatives.
