Carbon Locker (CL) is an international environmental organization seeking to provide direct solutions to the planets most urgent matters: Climate Change and CO2 Pollution. We have developed a new sustainable alternative to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHGs) and avoid the escalating hidden costs from fossil fuels: the Carbon Safe-Keeping Service... . This service consists in the stewardship of selected fossil fuels reserves around the world to ensure their complete closure on a permanent basis. By keeping those deposits unexploited, CL and yourself are helping to avoid the external costs produced by the extraction, processing, transportation and combustion of fossil fuels; and preventing trillions of euros/dollars in unnecessary subsidies. Carbon Locker has set in motion a virtuous cycle that provides benefits to the environment, to society and lastly to yourself. CL will be able to articulate several win-win actions to reduce CO2e Pollution and curve Climate Change: 1. Issue and register the first voluntary, fully backed, voluntary carbon instrument in the planet destined to lock-in fossil fuels deposits and avoid all its combustion externalities. In short, transform dirty energy into clean energy. 2. Acquiring legal rights over additional fossil fuel deposits granting that more GHG gases never reach the atmosphere. 3. Raise a global Green Investment Fund managed by a top bank & professional environmental investment advisers. Among fossil fuels, coal is by far the most polluting of all, responsible for the 40% of the worlds emissions.
