Before launching her own firm, Joanna Brownstein worked at leading organizations in academia, pharma and consulting. She was the director of clinical research informatics for the Harvard Catalyst, the Clinical and Translational Science Center at Harvard and was the second non-founder hire at Kyruus, a Boston area health analytics start-up. In addit... ion to her consulting work, Joanna is on the Board of Directors of Addgene , a non-profit that facilitates collaboration and resource sharing among scientists. She also advises start-ups in the behavioral health technology space and is co-founder of Bedical Tech, a Boston area start-up that is trying to solve the problem of finding appropriate inpatient treatment for behavioral health patients who are in crisis. Joanna holds an MSW from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts.
