Broad Reach Foundation provides programs based in the sport, science and mastery of sailing for youth from vulnerable communities. he programs combine leadership and life skills development through sail training - a unique model seldom accessible to this population. Broad Reach works with over 200 youth annually between the ages of 12 and 24. They... come from a variety of economic and socially challenged environments such as homeless shelters, priority neighbourhoods, young offender programs, and street youth drop-in centres. Most of these youth have no opportunity to participate in on-water recreational and skills developing activities.
