The Bridge Clinic partners are a vibrant group of doctors with extensive experience in rural general practice. The practice is an accredited RACGP training practice and not only hosts trainees but also medical students during their sixth year attachment. Doctors are encouraged to develop and maintain their special interests. As resident general pra... ctitioners we also provide obstetric, anaesthetic, surgery and emergency care at the Murray Bridge Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Five of the partners practice anaesthetics, each usually having a morning list per week. Five of the partners practice obstetrics, providing caesarean sections when required. In 1995 the Clinic became computerised with appointments, accounts and medical records integrated. We now use the Medtech 32 software package (September 2001).
