About Blount County 911
A native of Blount County and graduate of Oneonta High School, Neal Brooks began working in public safety as a volunteer in Blount County with the Allgood Fire Department in 1994. While in school at Wallace State in Hanceville, Neal worked as a dispatcher at Hanceville Police Department and then Blount County 911. Following paramedic certification completion, Neal worked as a paramedic for Blount EMS full-time for eleven years. In November of 2011, he accepted the position of Communications Supervisor at Blount County 911. Neal is a NENA certified Communications Center Manager (CMCP) and has also achieved the designation of Emergency Number Professional (ENP). As a graduate of Cleveland High School, Rachel Morrison attended Wallace State Community College in 2009 and received her Associates of Science in Drafting and Design Technology.
