About Big Bend 50
Put the Big Bend Ultra on your calendar for January 16 2022. Its a unique, fun experience, and an amazing place to run. From Lajitas and Terlingua, there are some great trails you can get to in a few minutes, and hike for an hour or two, or make a day of it. See our new day hike page. On Saturday before, and Monday after the race, a guided hike by Ranger Amber Harrison will leave at 10 am from the Contrabando Trailhead for a 6 mile round trip hike. An easy hike to loosen up, it will be on the Fresno Divide Trail. Previous years were a great success, so Saturday before has been added. We need a minimum number of participants, so sign up in advance. See our new day hike page. The 2022 events may have some new rules but we look forward to a great run, beautiful courses, and great people.
