Bauer's Dam Resort

Bauer's Dam Resort was established in 1946. From 1946 to 1973 Syl and Alice Bauer were your host. Bob and Jeanne Bauer took over and enjoyed running the resort from 1973 to 1992. In 1992, Glenn and Donna Miller took over the resort. Now, Kevin and Jesi Miller also assist with day to day operations. Bauer's Dam Resort is a small resort with 3 cabins... and a 5 bedroom house situated on a gorgeous peninsula on lower Buckatabon Lake. The views from the cabins are breath taking. There is a beautiful sand beach with a gradual depth (no drop off), volleyball, basketball and sand toys for the kids. We have a private boat launch and a protected bay to keep boats safe from inclement weather. There is a screened in fish-cleaning shed for the successful fisherman. Lower Buckatabon is an excellent fishing lake producing Walleye, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappies and plenty of other pan fish. For those fishermen who love big game fish, Lower Buckatabon is also a class A Musky Lake. For your convenience we have a beautiful bar restaurant with a deck over looking the lake. Serving homemade soups, burgers and pizzas. We feature a full liquor bar with many signature drinks. And for your one stop shopping we carry Sweatshirts, T-Shirts and Hats.
