Established in 2013. We are an Australian influenced cafe and bakery serving the best pastries, sandwiches and salads in Kansas City. Come in for breakfast or lunch, or grab and go for the busy downtown crowd. We also offer an array of vegetarian and gluten-free options. We offer a full bar of Wine, beer and cocktails, including Australian options.... Come in and try some Australian specialties, including meat and vegetarian pies, meat and vegetarian sausage rolls, lamingtons and more. We also offer and extensive catering service, specializing in corporate catering for lunch and breakfast and we deliver. When we moved from Australia in 2012, we were found that Kansas City residents had a sophisticated taste for food but there were limited options for cafes that served breakfast with a difference, gourmet sandwiches, salads and pastries and amazing coffee. We pride ourselves on taking fine dining flavors and transforming them into casual dine-in or take out options with incredible flavor. We love our downtown residence in the historically restored Cosby Hotel project. The building was built in 1881 and is one of the oldest in Downtown Kansas City, and today it's again alive and well with the opening of Banksia giving the neighborhood of residents and downtown workers a destination for breakfast, lunch and catering.
