Atlantis Aquatics is proud of its highly trained, enthusiastic, and energetic staff members. They are all certified swim instructors that have experience teaching seniors, infants, kids and instructors-in-training. Our staff members also hold their CPR-C certificates and our Lifeguards have the National Lifesaving Certification and their Standard F... irst Aid qualifications. Dolly Menna-Dack and Jenn Young met in 1995 while swimming at Bil Birds Swim School. They both became swim instructors and later on-deck supervisors. When Bil decided to retire, Dolly and Jenn took on the challenge of running a swim school. Atlantis Aquatics was founded in 2004, and has proudly been utilizing Bils teaching philosophy of small classes and individualized lessons. We have many former staff members away at university that are pursuing their interests in disciplines such as Law, Medicine, Kinesiology and Media Production. Creative, positive and dynamic individuals have worked with us and have left their marks on our hearts and in the teaching methods we employ. Bronze Star, Medalion, Cross are 1 hour group lessons. Adults (14yrs +): minimum requirement able to swim 100meters continuously, tread water for 2 minutes Groups classes (8-10 swimmers) are 1 hour and include warm-up, cool-down, stroke correction and endurance drills. We offer semi-private and private swimming lessons in 20 minute and 40 minute classes. Classes are available for swimmers of all levels, abilities and ages starting at 3 months old.
