Established in 1982. Art in Action's (AiA) mission is to empower students through arts education. AiA is a nonprofit that provides diverse visual arts curriculum, materials, and training for schools, school districts and after-school organizations. The company's lessons develop critical thinking and creativity through hands-on-learning. Art in Action lessons are fun, engaging and easy to teach by parents and teachers. Complete art materials can be purchased for each grade-level program. Online training makes it possible for Art in Action to be taught in schools nationwide. Art in Action has a 98% parent and student satisfaction rate. Art in Action, a nonprofit organization, was founded in response to a lack of art lessons taught in classrooms and the decimation of school budgets allocated to providing an arts education.
