LoadMatch Logistics was formed as a freight brokerage operation in 2006 to assist exporters with finding compatible empty import containers which could be utilized for their export bookings . The company's initial customer base included exporters of high volume export commodities such as forest products , waste paper , scrap metal , scrap plastic ,... textile waste and agricultural products . As the company's export volumes grew, LoadMatch began to focus on imports to compliment rapidly growing export volumes. Importers were quick to recognize LoadMatch value proposition and import volumes began to take off in late 2008. Throughout this growth and development curve, the company recognized the need for better communication between the company's customers and the company's trucking partners. LoadTrack, the company's proprietary database management tool, has been under continual development to enhance communication, efficiency, cost and profitability. In 2011, in an effort to better control cost, quality and capacity, LoadMatch formed a subsidiary trucking operation, LML Express, Inc. In 2012 LoadMatch formed a 2nd subsidiary company, 123 Express, Inc to continue to develop capacity and enhance quality and competitiveness. A third subsidiary motor carrier company, Veterans Express, Inc. was formed in 2013 to provide opportunity for transitioning US military veterans. Currently LoadMatch and it's subsidiary companies have 23 employees and over 110 owner-operators active at ports throughout the Southeast United States.Read More
