Antesco

Antesco, established in 1975, is a prominent player in the food manufacturing sector, specializing in agricultural products and frozen processing. The company initially focused on experimental vegetable varieties like green soybean, okra, and baby corn for frozen processing. By 1975, Antesco had expanded its investment to build modern frozen plants with imported equipment from the USA and Denmark, achieving a processing capability of 10,000 tons per year. They secured input materials by investing in owned land for raw material fields, ensuring consistent supply of baby corn, green soybean, and pineapple.

The company's commitment to innovation and sustainability led to further developments. In 2008, Antesco invested in processing by-products from vegetable peels into pellets for cattle feed, with an initial capacity of 2,400 tons per year, addressing waste management and environmental concerns. A significant transformation occurred in June 2011 when The An Giang Agriculture Technology Service Company officially transitioned into An Giang Fruit-Vegetables & Foodstuff Joint Stock Company. Continued expansion marked the following years, with a $7 million investment in 2015 for a third frozen plant featuring modern EU equipment and a capacity of 12,000 tons per year.
