For the past 25 years, Annie's has been nourishing families with simple, down-to-earth foods that taste great and are easy to love. Our passionate team seeks out the best real ingredients Mother Earth has to offer, harvesting pure, natural flavors to make delicious foods every family can feel good about. In 1989, Annie Withey co-founded Annies Home... grown, Inc. with Andrew Martin with the goal of making a healthy and delicious macaroni and cheese for families. She wanted to show by example that a successful business could also be socially responsible. Annie chose Bernie, her pet rabbit, to be the brands Rabbit of Approval, and she put her own address and phone number on each box to encourage customers to connect with her. Today, Annie lives on her certified organic farm in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters where she grows a wide variety of vegetables and flowers for her local co-op and farmers market. Annie remains involved in the business, responding to customers and writing the personal letters youll find on the back of our boxes. More importantly, she remains the inspiration and corporate conscience for our company and the entire family of Annies products. Over twenty-five years after our founding, the values that Annie started with still guide our company every day.
