American Orchards is truly a locally owned and operated family business. Founded by Benjamin Searle, Casey Balmforth, and Alan Archibald (two brothers-in-law and a father-in-law), the company brings a personal touch to the company's senior community that separates the company from other larger-scale facilities in the area. The company live in Gilbe... rt, the company's kids attend school in Gilbert, and it's where the company call home. We're committed to making the company's town and local community better by offering uncompromising care to the company's seniors and an excellent place to work, volunteer, and visit for all of the company's neighbors. Although the company's story officially began in 2009 when the company's first assisted living and memory care community opened its' doors in Mesa, the company's connection and commitment to senior care dates back to the company's earlier years and experiences as the company's own loved ones bravely faced the challenges of aging and memory loss. The company learned first-hand through these life lessons what it's like to be a family member who has to make the often difficult decision to seek out more help. The company understands that it can be stressful and difficult, and that it can come with a degree of guilt and anguish. It was during these earlier years when the company first began to take notice of the importance and need for quality senior care in a safe and inspiring setting. We've been able to collectively put together the most important knowledge that we've gained and apply that understanding when at first, envisioning, and then ultimately realizing the company's senior communities.
