Al Asayl Show Jumping

Al Asayl Show Jumping is a professional show jumping team based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The story starts in 2008, with a journey to France to find the three horses that began the string: Maxima 28, Oman De St Maudan & Ograaf D'Adriers. By the end of that first season we had placed in over 30 competitions, a success th... at can be attributed to the training and care the horses received under the management of Mr Jean Flottes and his wife Nathalie. Al Asayl Show Jumping has moved on since its inception and the purchase of the trio. A very successful start in their first season established a solid foundation for the future of AASJ. Al Asayl Show Jumping's patron, Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan Al Nahyan, supported young riders by granting the use of her horses Ograaf D'Adriers and Oman de St Maudan in the FEI World Children's Championships in 2009. This allowed UAE representative Aisha Al Shamsi to achieve success, winning a silver medal. Over the following few years AASJ continued to progress, having their horses placed in National and International competitions throughout the UAE and in Europe. AASJ pride themselves in breeding their own stock, carefully sourcing future talent and producing them according to their ethics. Our aim is to continue our breeding programme using our foundation mares and thus create a team of horses that can compete at an international level. The broodmares and young stock mature in Europe where they are able to grow in cooler climates, enjoying green pastures. We at AASJ are very pleased to have this opportunity to share with you our successes, our favorite memories and our brightest hopes for the future.
