Tekno Autosports has entered into a partnership with Springwood based Holden dealership, Motorama. The partnership was formed following Tekno's move to a two car Holden team in the V8 Supercar Championship this season and the team's commitment to aligning and supporting local business in the region. David Williams, General Manager for Motorama saw... the partnership as a logical fit for the dealership and to support a local team competing in the national V8 Supercar Championship. "We were approached by the team at Tekno a few weeks ago about the possibility of a partnership. It seemed a good fit for us given the team is local, are driving Holden's and are obviously in motorsport. It is an opportunity for us to support a local team in return for them assisting us to drive business through our dealership via their supporter and sponsor networks," Williams said. Tekno drivers Jonathon Webb and Michael Patrizi visited the dealership during the week to officially announce the partnership and to share a barbeque lunch with Motorama staff. Webb comments, "We are thrilled to partner with such an iconic local business like Motorama. We are going to work with them to assist with promotional activity and hopefully help them to move a few cars. The entire team has been great to deal with and I hope we can give all the staff something to cheer about this season". Motorama has plans to build a new showroom at their existing site with works due to commence in coming months.
