In Late 2014, we were ready to move out of the city limits of Burleson, Texas to enjoy a more country lifestyle that we had both been so desperately wanting. It was April of 2015, when Blake came home to tell me I had one week to get our house sold, because he found land to build our dream home on! That Easter weekend we sold our home and by May, w... e, along with our daughter Cadyn, packed up and made the move that, without knowing, would soon land us in the cattle business. It was June 2015, while attending an auction that was hosted by a local charity in Burleson, we won the bid on 2 young longhorns! With no barn, no trailer, and especially no experience or knowledge of the breed, we became owners of 2 Registered Longhorns and the 4F Longhorns story began. Over the last few years, we have continued to grow our longhorn program with meticulous and proficient decisions on bloodlines. During that time, we started to notice the need for Grass-fed Beef in our area and that triggered us to begin our 4F Cattle Company that involves breeding and raising up our very own Commercial Brangus program. Not only did this opprotunity open up another path for us, but it also showed that our recip program could come into place using our own cows. We want to thank and acknowledge each person we have met along the way and the help everyone has graciously given us! Our knowledge of bloodlines and studying the industries leaders has helped us in more ways than we could have ever imagined!
