Viva Raw is a Hillsborough, North Carolina-based pet food company founded in 2020 by Jennifer Wu and Zach Ao, specializing in fresh, raw, single-protein meals for dogs and cats delivered directly to customers. The company was born during the pandemic when the founders left their careers to create premium nutrition options that would help pet owners... provide their animals with the healthiest possible diet. Viva Raw produces nutritionally complete and balanced raw pet food formulated according to AAFCO standards, offering a diverse product range including chicken, beef, duck, turkey, rabbit, and emu in both ground and chunked textures. Each recipe features whole cuts of muscle meat, organs, and bones supplemented with organic egg yolk, fish oil, cod liver oil, Chilean mussels, nutritional yeast, and essential vitamins like taurine and vitamin E. The company is committed to using humanely raised, antibiotic-free meats sourced from small farms that follow ethical and sustainable practices. All meals are prepared in USDA-inspected kitchens that also handle human food preparation, ensuring the highest safety standards and avoiding common raw food risks like bacterial contamination. Viva Raw ships products frozen nationwide using biodegradable or curbside recyclable insulation with dry ice, reflecting their environmental responsibility. The company also offers a Pure line of meat-only formulations designed as supplements. Customer testimonials consistently highlight improvements in pet health, including shinier coats, increased energy, better dental health, and resolution of food allergies. Within two years of launching, Viva Raw achieved three million dollars in revenue and expanded distribution to boutique and specialty pet food stores across multiple states. The company transparent approach, responsive customer service, and commitment to quality have established Viva Raw as a trusted name in the raw pet food industry.Read More
