In 1995 Toolfix secured the appointment as the Australian agent for Gesipa Blindniettechnik GmbH to distribute their blind rivets and rivet tools. These quality products are sourced from Germany and USA are the market leaders. Gesipa is most famous for the AccuBird and PowerBird; the worlds first efficient cordless battery operated rivet tools, and more recently, the pneumatic Taurus series of blind rivet tools which set new standards in the industry for speed and reliability. Other tools in the range include hand rivet tools: NTX-F and Flipper, hand rivet nut tools: GBM-10 and GBM-30, and the FireFox air rivet nut tool. Gesipa extensive rivet range includes the Olympic Bulb-Tite, Mega Grip and Tri-Fold rivets. This began our journey into the fastener industry with a special focus on rivets. In 2005 we launched Apex Blind Rivets and Rivet Tools to compliment and increase our existing Gesipa range. Today Toolfix has over one thousand different styles of rivets, and the range is constantly expanding. Blind rivets are stocked in dome (truss) head, large flange and countersunk head styles, in a variety of materials including aluminium, steel, stainless steel (A2 / 304 and A4 / 316 grade) copper and Monel steel. Apex Fasteners also includes general fasteners such as nuts, bolts and screws.
