School District 6 Employee Directory

School District 6 is again offering a free six-week preschool program to children entering our schools in September of 2009. We hope that this program will help your child transition from home to school easily. This is meant to be a fun and positive experience. These programs are run in different locations in our district. Our program aims to help... your child learn through play and is activity based. Your child will be exposed to centers focusing on specific skills, participate in whole group activities, play cooperatively both indoors and outdoors, and see what being in a "real school" is like. The children will become familiar with routines, problem solving, and forming relationships.Read More
