SaltWire Network Employee Directory

The SaltWire Network is the home for hundreds of journalists and 27 storied media titles across the East Coast, including The Chronicle Herald, the Cape Breton Post, The Telegram, The Guardian, Journal Pioneer, as well as two dozen weekly community publications. With more than 1000 years of collective experience telling Atlantic Canadians' stories,... SaltWire publications and now SaltWire.com - is your essential source for the news and stories about the places we call home. While our presence may be broad spanning from Corner Brook to Yarmouth, Cape Breton to Charlottetown, Halifax to St. Johns our mission is singular: provoke thought and action for the betterment of our communities. Saltwire.com is the next evolution of our deeply-rooted company. It is the new home for the news, opinions and stories shaping our communities and Canada's East Coast. Its where all of the content from across our Network can be found on one simple, easy-to navigate website. You can navigate that content by location preference, choosing your location to see local content from your area, or by exploring what's trending in the Atlantic region, Canada and around the world. We evaluate all requests to remove content from our website on two principles the publics right to know and the historical record. Except under rare circumstances, often legal, our goal is to never waver from those values and delete our journalism. However, in fairness to people named in our stories, there may be rare circumstances in which senior editors agree removing a story is the right and humane thing to do.Read More
