Robbins Auto Top Employee Directory

Robbins Auto Top LLC is a manufacturer of premium convertible top systems and related components, serving the classic and contemporary convertible automobile market. The company specializes in convertible tops, glass and plastic windows, tonneau covers, top boots, headliners, and accessories, all engineered to deliver long-term value and durability... to convertible owners. Robbins manufactures its products using first-quality materials and original-style components paired with custom workmanship to ensure superior fit and finish. The company employs advanced Gerber Cutter computerized cutting technology to design and fabricate its products with precision, and it duplicates factory designs while improving upon them through enhanced reinforcement techniques, superior heat-sealing processes, and refined manufacturing methods. A key differentiator is Robbins' use of heat-sealed reinforcements throughout most of its product line, which provides extra strength and prevents side-to-side shrinkage in tops while eliminating the bubbling and failure issues common to glued reinforcements over time. For glass window assemblies, Robbins manufactures all glass windows using full-width, first-quality materials and bonds them using either its proprietary PermaLok Window Bond system for contemporary models or traditional heat-sealing techniquesthe same methods employed by major OEMs including GM, Ford, Chrysler, and Saabrather than inferior bonding methods such as silicone installation. The company offers glass windows in clear, tinted, and tinted-with-heater/defroster configurations to match original equipment specifications, and all glass is manufactured from tempered safety glass marked AS-2 to meet National Traffic and Vehicle Safety Act requirements. Robbins' commitment to factory-style extrusions, components, and careful finishing ensures that its convertible top systems and window assemblies meet the exacting standards expected by discerning convertible enthusiasts and restoration professionals.Read More
