Over the past 25 years, QCC has delivered over 3,000 projects including the design, engineering, operation and optimisation of coal preparation plants throughout Australia, China, New Zealand, Indonesia, South Africa, Canada and Russia. A fully owned company of Downer, QCC and Downer are recognised as well established providers of Coal Handling and... Preparation Plant (CHPP) design and construction services to the coal industry, both in Australia and Overseas. Recent major projects include: Xstrata's Mangoola and Ravensworth North CHPP projects; Wesfarmers Curragh Washery Expansion; and Anglocoal's Drayton CTU Upgrade. Internationally, QCC has completed the design work on the Stockton CPP project for Solid Energy in New Zealand, Xiangshui CPP for KSS in China, and the Goedgevonden CPP for Xstrata in South Africa. In addition, QCC has completed a wide range of feasibility studies for coal projects in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Africa, China, Mongolia, Russia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Canada.
