Perry Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation striving to improve post-acute care in Nevada. Working to improve the secondary health care services at post-acute care facilities, such as rehabilitation centers, outpatient therapies, and palliative care, we see a bright future ahead. Working with our local communities we continue... to build integrity, efficiency, and service excellence for the most vulnerable patients in Nevada. It is through the post-acute care providers that we are able to make the greatest impact. We hope to bring awareness to our local communities, doing so directly through donor support, continuing to build on the base paved by Perry Foundation. Perry Foundation is committed to providing evidence-based practice education to Nevadas post-acute care provider and regulatory community. Through this education, the foundation improves the quality of care while promoting excellence in the delivery of care. Using evidence based practices, essential to equip Nevadas post-acute care community with the tools necessary for improvements we have been successful in many ways. These include, monitoring quality indicators, recruiting of quality personnel, and supporting a career path for new health care professionals. Perry Foundation has offered educational services since our inception. It has been through regular classroom sessions, with professional caregivers and skilled nurses, that we have been so effective in our services. While we traditionally worked directly in the skilled nursing and acute hospitals sector it was in 2013 that we expanded our offerings. To reach our goals the Foundation began to offer integrated education for care-givers in the assisted living and for residential facilities for groups communities. In 2017, the Perry Foundation established the Perry Foundation Academy of Health, licensed by the State of Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education.
