Hasnt this been the oddest of years? Above all it has been a year of change, in so many ways and it isnt done yet. One of the least expected side effects of Covid-19 has been to encourage all of our staff members to return to school. As of December 24, 2020 we will not have the staff for us to be able to continue to provide service and repairs. It... has also been the push that Wayne and I have needed to make the decision to retire, so we will be closing the doors to Performance Bicycles at the end of March. So from January until then, we will be open, but for parts and accessories and bike sales only. We will continue to provide free after-purchase bike tune-ups as usual, and minor repairs as possible. In the works is an on-line sales tool as there will be progressive sales and discounts, so well keep you posted on that. We would like to keep you apprised of any special deals or news as we go along, but we recognize that not everyone wants to hear about it or get emails from us. If you would like these updates (probably every couple of weeks or so) please keep an eye on us on Instagram, Facebook, and subscribe to email updates . Or let us know in store if you would like to be added to the email list. You will be hearing this from us again but please know how much we appreciate the trust that you have placed in us to keep your bikes in shape for you and to provide you with good quality bikes and gear. We have met many wonderful people over the last 35+ years, not least the great employees that have shared some time with us. We have truly enjoyed getting to know you all and hearing about your adventures on bike (and off!). We are now open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00 to 5:00, with variations at statutory holidays. We will be happy to receive payment by email transfer to any of our email addresses, and we do have tap enabled credit/debit card processing up to $250.
