Pegasus Communications Employee Directory

At Pegasus Communications we like to up the ante for the live racing experience and make off-track racing seem closer than ever. We take the hoof pounding, high stakes, white-knuckle action and make it larger than life. Our full live broadcast production services bring the audience closer to the action, while real time graphics keep everyone in the... know. Integrated timing systems, allowing for precise tracking of each racer, and Pegasus DataLinks©, our proprietary interface software to display immediate wagering information, bring our system full circuit. It started back in 1986, when Jim Porep began engineering state of the art simulcast experiences finely tuned to each course. The first racetrack to get the Pegasus treatment? Simulcast award winning Los Alamitos Race Course , which has stuck with us through numerous technological evolutions, including the introduction back in 1995 of an industry first: our pioneering graphics interface, Pegasus DataLinks©. And we have continued to evolve from there, moving from tape to digital, staying at the head of the pack when it comes to innovations in simulcasting and graphical interfaces. The next big change is taking place, as we transition from SD to HD, allowing tracks to broadcast in both definitions. Today, we offer every aspect of the simulcast system, from dynamic camera coverage, graphics interface systems, race timing, mobile outdoor LED screens, and full turnkey production packages.Read More
