The company's orthopedic specialty team will still be av... ailable during working hours to meet your important needs, but effective immediately the company is implementing the following changes within the company's practice: 1. The company continue to be available for all orthopedic emergencies and urgent cases. However, to ensure your safety, the safety of the company's staff and all of those around the company, the company is offering an initial consultation by phone to triage the need to actually be seen in person. 2. Once you complete your online paperwork, you can talk to a provider who will then determine if an in-person visit is necessary. 3. You will be speaking to the company's providers from the comfort and safety of your home in less time than the time it would take to drive to the ER. 4. The company will be triaging cases and prioritizing them based on injuries within the last week, broken bones, dislocated joints, open wounds, and cuts. 5. Chronic pain and elective procedures can be seen via teleconference but an in-office appointment and or surgery will not be available in the immediate future until the company's restrictions are lifted. The company urge you to stay home if you are sick and continue to practice good hand hygiene, and cover coughs. If you are sick and/or have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, contact your primary care provider immediately. If you have any of these symptoms, the company also ask you to call the company's office to reschedule your appointment.
