MPCon Employee Directory

MPCon has been an established LAN Party in south-eastern Michigan for 17 years. In that time, we have grown from a small gathering of QuakeWorld Team Fortress clan mates to one of the largest LAN parties in Michigan, and one of the most sought after LAN parties in the Midwest - LANParty.com. MPCon has had 150+ gamers for 15 consecutive events since... 2000. Since 2004, the event has averaged over 180 gamers per event. The largest event drew over 320 attendees. MPCon has its roots at the University of Michigan - Dearborn, ranked #9 in the nation for Gaming Colleges. The event filled the Mary and Arthur Kochoff Hall in the University Center building, and the Recreation Organization Center before that. In August 2007, we held a "trial run" event at the new Eastern Michigan University Student Center in Ypsilanti, MI. MPCon teamed up with Gamers Outreach Foundation (GOF) to host a charity event called Gamers for Giving, a combined event featuring the MPCon XX LAN Party and an Xbox 360 Halo 3 Tournament. Proceeds were donated to the Autism Society of Washtenaw County, a local branch of the Autism Society of America. We have also teamed up with Penguicon. MPCon hosted a Gaming Room & LAN party at Penguicon 6 and 7.Read More
