Founded by Bob Meads in October, 1998, iQuest was formed to meet the growing need for expert software integration with Siemens SIMATIC WinCC , a powerful HMI development environment that helped evolve traditional process applications from single node machine control to distributed systems employing web, database, networking and other cutting edge t... echnologies. With each new success, demand for our services grew. Our commitment to offering robust solutions required us to keep pace with emerging technologies, such as the introduction of SQL Server and Oracle into the process environment; the demands for ActiveX and Custom software development with VB, C++ and .NET for unique requirements; leveraging JAVA and XML for web integration; and the emergence of OPC as a universal solution to multiple vendor applications. After 15 years in business, iQuest is still a growing company, continually seeking to add expert resources to offer complete solutions to our customers. We added a second office in Odessa, Florida, staffing it with highly skilled engineers for PLC Programming , Panel Building , and Automated Machine Design . We have also added a Machine shop to ensure we had both the sufficient quality and availability of machined parts for our customers. We endeavored to employ only the best resources. Customers such as Siemens, Philip Morris, Honeywell, BOC Gases, Melita, The University of California at Berkeley, TVA, and many others have entrusted us with their process and automation needs for over ten years.
