Happy Apples Employee Directory

Happy Apples is a third-generation, family-owned producer of premium caramel apples, fresh apples, and pure apple cider headquartered in Washington, Missouri. Founded in 1970 following a serendipitous mix-up that led to the creation of their first batch of caramel apples, the company has grown to produce and deliver millions of made-to-order carame... l apples annually. Happy Apples operates production facilities in both Missouri and California, maintaining complete control over quality from orchard to finished product. The company owns and manages four orchards spanning approximately 170 acres across the rolling hills of Marthasville, Missouri, primarily cultivating Jonathan and Granny Smith apple varieties selected for their tartness, firmness, and ability to maintain crispness during the caramelization process. As the only caramel apple company that grows its own apples, Happy Apples ensures exceptional quality control throughout the entire production journey. Their proprietary family caramel recipe, perfected over generations, creates a signature sweet and sticky coating that balances the bright, tart flavor of their orchard-grown apples. The company supplies major national retailers including Walmart, Aldi, Cub Foods, and Save-A-Lot, offering traditional caramel apples as well as specialty varieties featuring toppings ranging from candy sprinkles and chocolate chips to innovative flavor combinations. Happy Apples also provides customized caramel apples for private and corporate events with personalized labels and decorations, and offers an Apple of the Month club through their website for year-round availability of seasonal and experimental flavors.Read More
