This allows parents to still be the teachers at home. Freedom Academy simply takes cares of all the enrollment paperwork for your child. In the eyes of the state and school districts, Freedom Academy is considered a private school. However, each "classroom" is each family's home and each "teacher" is the parents in that home. This is an option many... homeschoolers have used for years in the state. Why are we called Freedom Academy? This name was chosen due to a number of reasons. The largest being that we are grateful to have the freedom to school our children in a method we choose. Many families across the globe are fighting for the chance to educate their children at home. We are thankful to the pioneers in this country who, over thirty years ago, paved the way for this generation to learn at home. Filing Paperwork: If you are enrolling in Freedom Academy, do notfile a Letter of Intent or a Subsequent Letter of Intent. All necessary paperwork will be filed by us! Please contact us, using the "contact" tab on the website. Let us know if you are coming from a letter of intent (Option 1) to Freedom Academy (Option 2) and we'll help you navigate the transition.
