Focus Forward was established in 2005 as a community benefit organization with a nonprofit designation and the mission of creating positive change and promoting successful outcomes for youth in the Fresno County juvenile justice and foster care systems. The company started with providing services at the Juvenile Justice Campus (JJC) where the compa... ny works in partnership with the Probation Department. Additionally, the company focused on assisting youth in foster care by providing access to clothing, higher education supports, and scholarships. Focus Forward has grown in its capacity to serve as a multidimensional organization, working with youth inside the JJC, during the re-entry phase, and with youth's families in the home and community. Through a talented team of staff, interns, community volunteers, and partners, the company has grown the company's re-entry/after-care programming.
