Established in 1943 by Thomas Fahey, and then taken over by David's father, David Pomfret Sr in the mid 1960's, Fahey Pest Management has been providing professional pest management services to residents and businesses on the Gulf Coast of Florida for over sixty-seven years. While in school, he worked part-time for his father at Fahey during the summers. After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force and served the company's country for four years. Upon leaving the Air Force, David returned to Fahey to run a pest control route and continued to work part-time for his father while attending Manatee Community College, University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida. After college, David returned to Fahey to run the Venice branch and was soon promoted to General Manager of the Main Branch in Sarasota.
